ur right about equiping the ss, i use botd, just because of all the strg, imo i think you end up with 180 or so strg if using grief or 190, i use botd and have 220 strg, so with grief it would be 190
ive actually have been using ur post from eariler as help, ive been trying out different setups with ows and ur correct they both work well, but i think a hybrid in the end is better, sometimes you do need damage to take them up but then ago its all about who can outlive the person the longest, with open wounds i think im killing them faster then my fort/rends combo vs duress/dracs both setups do work great

im also nl grief, is an option for me, but its cheaper to get a perf ebotdcb or ebotdz i went with the ebotdcb for the sexy look but fury and grief are also some o fthe best choices out there

Np but forget about BOTD, it's bollocks, in every sense of the word. If you cannot afford a nice Grief (397+) get a Fury, it's equally effective due to OW. BOTD is just all out saki-saki.
CB takes away 1/10 of the person's REMAINING life, so it's effects are greatly reduced when the person has low life. OW > CB in that aspect.
BOTD damage (same stats as previous calculations, if fact I even forgot to include Forti, so the damage gap between the two setups would be even smaller):
[(48x1.5)x4.15]x{6+1+2) = 2690, so after PvP penalty and max DR% = 224 dam.
BOTD is possibly one of the worst weapon choices for BvB so I suggest that you get rid of it. Don't forget that Grief also has a small damage bonus from the Venom on it. Every little bit helps, but BOTD is just bad.
Duress is an option, but Forti > Duress.

isnt too much posion considered bm? on most tourns its bandded same with grief thats why i gues botd, for the using greif? i have dueled alot of bvb babrs only have meet 2 bvbs that can kill me and i can killt hem as well, just comes down to luck lmao, and ive fought grief barbs ... i rip them to shreds i have yet to meet a good 1...... so my vote is with botd, fury is nice too for the ow, but ud be doing like 3k damage per ww, plus dr and pvp penalties ur not doing too much it would then be even harder to kill, imo my vote is still for botd... and ty for the cb info
and i can afford a grief if i want it
also does deadly strike work with the damage greif adds 350-400 just a question lol deadly strike doubles damage done

id compare greif and botd and see which 1 does better for be , but im sword spec so 2rangevs 3 range would be a hard comparison

im talking about using grief on my bvb barb , rihgt now im using perf ebotdcb
im sword barb so the Range of a greif in pb is like 2 or 1 and im talking about tresting grief out on my barb, im also nl and ur europe ladder i think? and like the only griefs avaible on nl anymore or PB and Zerk and im sword so id have to use the PB but its like a range of 2 or 1 vs a range of a 3 weapon really wouldnt be able to compare which 1 is better for you as a dueler...
and no i dont use barbs only they are just in my opinion the funnest char to play

and no i dont use barbs only they are just in my opinion the funnest char to play Dude, your barb is seriously underpowered, and I recommend that you remake. Honestly. Don't even think about using Grief PB and BOTD CB is really rubbish. If I were you, I'd make a new barb (max out Axe Mastery) and go for Grief BA (range 3).

you have never seen my barb duel frater u cant say its underpowered...
i know friends with almost same setup as me cept using zerker.... i dont have a problem beating them , and as for grief vs botd
greif is probably more damage , but botd comes with serveral mods that are more handy and another statement i will add, i have never lost ot a greif using bvb barb....

my skill with teh bvb is insane whne it comes down to it, im using plain skill to out baet and wit any bvb opponet....
