darkforce or sprit?

i was told fcr is definitaly needed for boner nec (dueling) so should i use darkforce for then extra dmg or sprit for the extra fcr? it only gives 5 fcr but darkforce only gives 3 pnb skills (spirit gives 2 all) so im not sure what i shoudl do unless some other better stats on df i dont know about...help me out right quick

For a bone nec, there are 4 potential shields of choice, and Darkforce is not one of them.
1) Homonculus. Nice mods, socket and very good block chance.
2) Stormshield. High block, high DR, socket. And a high STR req.
3) Spirit. You should go for this if you use Stormshield. Use Storm when dueling melee chars and Spirit when dueling casters.
4) Whitstan's. Single highest block in the game, but not much besides that. If going for block, I'd suggest Homonculus or Stormshield.

For dueling, you will need max block on quite a few occasions, if you don't have it, it will limit the chars that you can duel. Don't run in duels. Running reduces block down to 33% of your original (i.e. 75% gets reduced to 25%). Walk.

If you're cvc, you won't need block. I've never bothered with block on necs myself. Fighting characters that use physical attacks (zons, pallies of sorts, and barbs) usually isn't near as fun as cvs is .

Spirit is a better sheild in my opinion, because of the 55 fhr and 5 extra fcr (highest nec fcr bp is 125, I think. Somthing with a 5 anyways. Haven't played nec in ages =/)
