Ok, first off I play nox, this character is PvM and experimental.
It is a Redemption Pally, it uses Sacrifice and Redemption as it's 2 main skills, and the basic concept is I kill monster, with sacrifice, I lose some health, then Redemption makes the corpse go poof and I'm healed again.
Got it? I am looking for a challenge or I would make a FOH'r or a Hammerdin.
The basic layout of skills is:
Sacrifice - 20 - Main attack
Holy Sheild - 20 - a must for all pallies
Redemption - 20 - PvM aura
Fanaticism - 20 - possible PvP aura, I found that this is useful for deafeating the bosses
+ all prerequired
For stats I want to say:
Str: enough for equipment
Dex: max block with holy sheild
Vit: rest
Ene: none
Now for equipment I'm completely clueless this is where I need help, and I also would like some help with the stats too.

Interesting idea, but I would do it a little differently:
stats:
STR: enough for gear
DEX: enough for max block with HS
VIT: rest
ENE: none
skills:
20 Sacrifice
20 Fanatiscm
20 Holy Shield
20 Defiance
20 Resist Lightning/Resist Fire/Redemption
Instead of putting points into Redemption, use Pheonix shield (one of the most underrated Paladin shields [go for Vortex, or some other elite paladin shield]). You will be doing a little less damage due to not getting the entire synergy bonus, however, the ed% on the shield will make up for it. Alternatively, you could still max out Redemption for the synergy bonus to Sacrifice, but never actually switch it on (because with Pheonix you will have it constanly active anyway).
Now, the advantages of using Pheonix is that you can have Fanatiscm active at the same time. This means that you will be enormous amounts of damage, but healing yourself due to active Redemption at the same time.
Gear:
Helm: CoA Ber Ber (this is a kamikaze build, so you'll need your DR%)
Weapon: Grief Berserker Axe (I would definately choose this over BOTD, you'll be doing more damage)
Armor: Forti/Enigma (depends on your style. Enigma if you want to tele, Forti if you want a pure damage build. For PvP, either one will go)
Shield: Pheonix Vortex Shield (explained above)
Gloves: Dracul's (with Life Tap, you'll be invincible)
Belt: Verdungo (DR% and life)
Boots: Goreriders/Shadow Dancers (Gores are probably the better option though)
Amulet: Highlord (IAS% and DS)
Rings: Raven + rare +20 str +15 dex +life +mana +3x triple resi, or 2xRaven (not for PvP though)
Alternatively, you could use rare gloves 20%IAS +20 STR +15 DEX +3x triple resi, and go for Dual Angelic combo, in case you are low on AR.
As for PvP, I seriously doubt that you will be able to do anything. You won't be able to compete with the psycho damages of Smiters and Barbs, not even considering the fact that you'll be doing damage to yourself. Not good. Let me know if you have any more questions, or need something clarified.

It's actually quite common in Diablo, at least when I played.

It's still used often on Open B.net because both Exp and Nox are mashed together

Anyway, moff3tt, sorry. I played Classic a long time ago (before LoD came out), and since then there have been a lot of changes, but I am quite sure that due to the restriction of gear, this would be a dead build now (especially in hell).
