Okay so friday i shut off my computer and left for a day. last night i came home and turned it on and my mouse wouldn't work. i tried hooking the mouse up to my moms computer but same shit. could the laser or whatever on it be ****ed up? because i can click just can't move. any ideas on what i should do.

The mouses at school sometimes do that also, sometimes they will start working or sometimes the "laser" thing just stops working. Sometimes what helps is restarting computer with mouse in, or you have to get new mouse.

you probably need to clean it, try canned air or something soft. I use those little brushes that come with electric shavers, snip like 3/16" off the tip and brush lightly then finish it off with my refillable air can. If you dont have canned air, use a bike pump and a ballpin attatched to it. works wonders and saves about 9.99.

If cleaning does not work, throwing the object out of the largest window available, followed by a drive to the nearest technology store always fixes things up... =P

I never have that problem since my mouse is a touchpad 12 button touchpad lol.
