I got to thinking, concentration and fanaticism are both great auras for a paladin, so, why not have both? Take a smiter, max out conc and wear a beast? Would that work at all? Beast has crushing blow and deadly strike, last wish has by far more crushing blow and a might aura thats higher than beasts aura. Could that be worth it at all? or just a waste of time.
Its just a thought, I have seen a video on youtube of a smiter with an amn'd wizpike do it, not very fast, but without dying (lifetap wand). I have also watched my brother uber just fine with a doom ( before he could afford a non ladder last wish)
Also, why make griefs and lastwishes in phaseblades? I have always wondered this, I think that the 40 more damage for grief doesn't matter that much.

the phase blades range is 3 but a zerks range is 0. stick with the phaseblade...

mathal*****, stfu unless u know what ur talkin about
1. phase blade range is 2
2. zerker range is 3
3. base pb ias is 30
4. base zerk ias is 0
therefore, if u use a pb, u can modify more of ur gear to be better in different aspects. Phase blade is strictly for PvM though, Zerker with the right gear takes out pb in no time because of the added range
zerker > pvp
pb > pvm (its also indestructible, which makes it alot less annoying)

last time i checked the pb was 3 and the zerk range was 4... maybe arreat summit is wrong.... idk

I've been pro ba for a long time but i've started to think that pb might not be such a bad choice at all, my reasoning:
* The only time you really need the extra range is vs baba and then you can equip ba but if barb uses cleaclaws then you are screwed bigtime.
* The ias on pb means that you can be more flexible with your eq choice and don't have to keep ias bp-s in mind all the time.
* In smite vs smite pb>ba because of holy freeze, cleaclaws and so on.

why don't u get a pride for your merc and use grief and max fant thats been a favorite for many my smiter does 5 k smite so it works pretty well for me but do what u want
