I read a lot of the posts about the sting's maphack. A lot of people said it's undetectable and they have used it ever since it came out and they still haven't ban yet. But I also read some post about that they get banned for using sting's maphack not plugin. Are these people using it incorrectly or what? I am not sure if sting is really save even when not using plugin. So i need more informations.
I also want to know if mm bot is detectable or not.

I can tell you that CURRENTLY all of those EXCEPT mmbot (not sure about it) will be undetectable\not banned by Blizzard.
I am only saying currently to cover my ass: Stings is very good at staying undetectable, and they do not ban for using D2Loader.

Ya. Stings w/o plugin is undetectable; D2Loader isnt but they just dont ban for it..
so just make sure you dont install plug-in on stings

There was a mass ban today for stings without plugins, it's been detectable for ages, why are there still people around who recommend it?

You have any proof of this? The fact you say it has been detectable for ages makes me roll on the floor laughing. I have typed out how Stings works so many times I wont even bother. The only thing I can possibly think may get it detected is if they check the HEX signature... it has too mayn safeguards to protect itself from warden to get easily detected.
Also, since there are not 100 people posting about being banned (there are a LOT of stings users out there), infact there is not even one, would prove that there has not been a mass banning?
Oh yeah, and I was just playing D2 at 1am last night and I use stings a lot.

Ha, come on dude... sting's w/o plugin only benefits when doing quests, baal runs, etc. It's not like i'd have a better chance in pking you if i used stings w/o plugin. I bet you don't bitch when someone is baaling you. why is this such a problem with you? Most of us have been playing D2 since it came out... no sense in having to keep searching for the same sh*t over and over again. i would stop playing the game completely if there wasn't a "reveal map" program and i'm sure a ton of other folks would too.

Yes i know how stings works, how do you explane half of Eliteforce getting banned 3 days ago for stings? I personally know 10+ people who had that happen to them.

Well, Ever since i started playing d2. I use the mouspad Maphack all the time and didn't get ban. So i trusted mouspad. Then I quit for a while and now i am playing it again. When I cam back to play d2 again. Mouspad mh is not available and only sting is available and I heard there's like mass bannings on the maphackers with out warning.

unless these ppl are going around annoucing that they are using sting's w/o plugin, they won't get banned for it.
the mass bannings were from maphack programs that inject dll's, certain bots programs, etc. Sting's "reveal map" doesn't do this. (as long as you don't load the plugin) it's all client side.

Why did a whole bunch of client side far casters get banned and no those people didn't use plugins.

Easy. Because other people turn their accounts into Bnet. No one has to announce that they are using Far cast. it's fairly obvious.
This is why you don't announce that u use Stings.

You say you know how stings operates? Please give me a blow-by-blow of exactly what it does, from the time you open it to the time you launch and enter a game in Diablo II.
This is stings configured with Disable Auto Load, Auto Reveal w\o IScan, and Integ scan I don't really care about
I would but I just want to prove you have no idea what the hell you are talking about Loits. I have taken advanced program monitors such as WinPooch and I know exactly what Stings does, and it is very well coded.
