Help deleting a pesky folder
#1
So yeah, once upon a time I wanted to play Twisted Metal 2, just a passing fancy, so I downloaded it from somewhere, played it, got bored.
Problem! The folder is named тм (those are symbols..) and either trying to rename it, move it, or delete it causes explorer to crash. I tried 'Active Eraser' and heh, whaddya know, when it attempts it, the program crashes.
After a while I just ignored it, this stupid little folder on my desktop.. but today I did some desktop cleaning (mine gets very cluttered, and I like to see my backgrounds from time to time) and now it sticks out like a sore thumb. Rawr! I want it to go away ^^

-Edit-
Oh yeah, it might help to know I'm on XP Pro with NTFS..

Try going in safe mode and removing it, also where did you get TM2, might be some kind of "virus".
Maybe also try uninstalling TM2 and get it from a different site.

i had that problem before. just highlight the folder and push the delete button. the folder that did it for me was an enclave game.

Tongue It wasn't a virus, or at least it didn't show up on any virus/spyware/malware scan, it was just the game and it worked.. Snipz thank you so much that program worked perfectly! Big Grin

If you cant delete it in safe mode, then right click it in safe mode, and there should be a security tab. Add your admin user, and then try again.
