Eth Weps For Cta/Hoto

Hey everyone,

I've been hearing people sayng that etheral items are better for making things like cta/hoto. Can someone explain to me why this is? Whats gonna happen when it runs out of durability? Are there any advantages of it?

Besides the fact that they "look cooler", there are no advantages/disadvantages.

The only thing is that they have lower requirements, but since the Torch came out, those have never been a problem.

also, equipped on a caster such as a Sorc, the durability wont run out

Because the items you don't hit people hit wont lose durability. i.e hoto and cta. it also lowers the req by like 5 or something.

question what happens when durablility runs out? does it disapear or permantley broke or what it has never happned to me b4 just wanted to know.

^^ Well the hotos don't break because you don't hit people with them. But otherwise it just turns red like anything else.

Also depends on your char. If you have something like Windy or Hammerdin, don't go for eth, since you do occasionally hit with them. What I do on my Windy is bind "throw" under left mouse button. When I click on someone, my char runs up to them, but does not hit.
