new halo book

so i was at barnes and nobles, and i was about to leave and my mom took me to this section (well i just followed) and there it was, sitting on the shelf, nowhere near the other halo books or the science fiction/fantasay thing
i havent read much of it yet but i know the major char in it is tom .
aparently he and several others are part of the spartan III project and they (as of right now) are trying to destroy this plant of the covenant

just telling you theres another halo book ( #4). i dont know if people from this site are like me or not but i love this game.


if you want to know if you are really knowledgeable about the game and like it extremely (for campaign)
is there a scarab gun and if so how many?
for multiplayer
whats the major part of being able to stand on thin air.
(i dont know much about this myself, but i know 2 really valuable things that make this possible)
oh and for halo1, what is shield bumping?
i know all of these
