i have recently installed linux (ubuntu) on my old comp it had windows on it already, how can i get windows on again without partioning the drive again?.. it doesn'ts give me an option to switch to windows

Download a Repartitioner u have to repartiton to do this. Creat Duel Boot. I normaly go 1/2 of your drive space. After u do this when u goto install windows u will see unused partition space just install and your good.

When you boot you will be givin the option to pick witch os u wanna run.

thats what i did. my older one didnt want to work with repartitioner but its fine cause the old HD was small anyways. dont think it would of lasted with 2 OS's on it with only 15 gigs lol. but i dont have ubuntu =/ i have i386 on it Sad but its fine since i have mandiva on the laptop

Just use ubuntu with beryl its cooler anyway.

OpenSUSE > ubantu just so you know. At least when I last used Ubantu it was complete crap.

I heard so many things about suse that I don't think I'll even try it. Whats the difference anyway? Just that Ubuntu is Debian right?
