get better character is the easyest solution.

his mf only effects moneters he kills, your mf adds onto his when he kills, his mf doesnt add onto yours when u kill though, so go for a powerful merc rather than just a mf one that cant kill anything.
Some sequences already have precasts ... pretty much all of them, except not enchant.
