>.< dumb question but how do you get items you download and put them into diablo so you can use them(in single-player)?

Check downloads section for Hero Editor.

Download hero editor, put your downloaded items in your save folder found in diablo 2 directory, open hero open your character. Click Inventory and import the item. (Did my research)

if your new at editing/ puting items onto characters u suggest using Udie tool i used that before i learnt to use hero editor and i found it easier to use. but hero editor is far more advanced for make and editing characters items ect..
