I may be wrong, but I'm not sure it's actaually affected by Ping. I've hit 4000 ping and it still wouldn't let me join. Then I hit a low FPS and like 7 Frame Skips, and I was good to go. So it may be frame skipping that you want to get up.

I've successfully duped with ping as low as 500 and as high as 2000, and also with fps as low as 5 and high as 75. I have no clue what optimal conditions are.

To tell you the truth , ive never had my frameskip go past 1 and I've been duping in under 7 mins or less. I dunno what im doing differen't but i cast meteor tele around, cast meteor tele... repeat, but it seems to have been working great for me. My ping is always about 750-1200 before it lets me in.

as an expirienced duper, duping doesnt do anything with ur ping just fps
get a fps as low as 1-3, 1-2 works nice and then u just wait like 10-12 mins and u should be desynched by then. also sometimes if u watch ur ping when u desynch it go's from like 500 striaght to 1700+ for like 2 seconds.

misfits your an idiot. Just wanted to say that.

Ping can be an indicator but not too good. You know you are really lagging the server when you get sudden spikes of 2000+. And that's a good time to try logging. However as mentioned above things turning invisible and low fps is the real way to tell. The best indication is having a timer with you. I ALWAYS hit it between 15 and 17 mins. So why bother with signs, I just leave it to autocast till then.
