Iron Golem Question

I know iron golems get the abilities of the items they are spawned from. But, what if I was to make an iron golem out of an exile. Would it have defiance and give all my other minions defiance?

I dont know about shield but it works the same way with other items with auras like infinity, pride, beast, and insight. Ive only done it out of a Wep so maby buy a shield from a a vendor and try to make a golem

Well I was brainstorming how I could stack a summoner with the most aruas possible. Here's what I got so far:

Merc:

Might(skill)
Concentration(Weapon/Pride)
Holy Fire(Armor/Dragon)
Holy Shock(Helm/Dream)

Necro:

Fanaticism(Weapon/Beast)

Golem:

Thorns(Skill)
Holy freeze/Conviction/Defiance(Item)


Conviction would be good also because it would go well with the holy fire/holy shock and lower their defense combined with all the damage aruas. I'm not serious about this build, just thought it would be a fun idea. And my minions would be boosted by Battle Orders/Battle Command too.

The items on the merc are to pump up the minions. You're merc won't die because you'll have buffed up summons running around killing everything.

well do what you want its your items, but if you want the best result and no waste of items, do what you always tell other people too, test it in sp/open bnet.

I'm in the process of testing out this necro with hero editor. I forgot about how much I hate using hero editor too. This build just seemed fun to me, having minions with 9 different power ups at once eating everything in sight.

well good job, hope it works out for you and you get a kick ass necro. this would be interesting though to try out. but im not coming back. oh and why do you hate hero editer (udie 2 is easy btw)

I dont think your summons get holy fire and holy shock, I could be wrong though.

And to Clayto, a summoners merc has no need for leech life, it's called a pot everyonce and a while and several meat shields around him.
