Problems With Hero Editor

Ok, I have hero editor and have had it 4 a while now. But, there is a very annoying problem that I need help with. I have characters on Open Bnet that when ever I try to edit there items and click SAVE on the editor and log in to open and enter a game, the items i have made or edited, ARENT THERE!!!! PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you.
