I have been thinkin for a while about doing this. Recently I talked to Pam about it and she also agreed that I should do this.
The Idea:
Awards, I think we should have an Awards thread every 3 months or so, because I do beilive that people do need a "Good Job" every once in a while. I also think more people will stride to do a better job.
So how this will work out is we will have Sections.
EX: Best Artist
Most Active Member
Most helpfull member.
Then we will have 3 runners for each section that other people nominate. Please be honest with this or we will just get Mods to nominate people.
Then after 2-4 days of nominations we can start the voting. Winner will get some Rep added I think like 5 rep?
Not sure.
Heres just an Example of how it will go
Best Artist
1) Divine
2) 10-man
3) SHIFT_
Votes:
Divine=4
10-Man=4
SHIFT_=4
Things like that.
So tell me what you guys think?

Would there be a sub forum? Where people could post in several different threads to nominate people for the respected sections. You, or everyone, would have to decide upon different awards.

About sub forums Im unsure. I just dont have that kind of power power. I could ask one of the Admins. Also about the rewards I do think 5 rep is good. Simply because not a lot of mods do give out rep.

Invisible is looking for ideas to specify certain voting catagories.
Decide,then the member you would like to nominate in said catagory and for what reason.
I loved the..
Most active
Most helpful
Best artist
I also suggest a category of most legible
Best giving good readable posts in answer to questions.(although this falls under helpful)
As for prizes after nominations and votes I will Rep whom ever the poll says is in the lead.
My Reps are on the large end and not just +5.
I Repd Invisible today for his thread (guide) as well as this one.
He is now a Legend and was *tickled pink* that someone saw his contribution.
This is a way of telling you all *Good Job!!*
Feel free to congratulate him,and please note that a Mod does not Rep very often.

See I was thinking of Converting peoples name into Pink...
Contest winner correct?
As of now we have 2 people with pink names. 10-man and SBA.
So I think that would be pretty nice?

When Invisible opens a thread in the apropriate section,and makes a poll.This ,of course,will be after people are nominated.
Once 3 or more are put forth by members it will then be made a poll and posting/voting is the next step.
Please be honest as to why you nominate someone,for that section,and do it in a legible manner.

Since its the 24 of March I would like to start the nominations pretty soon so by the 1st we can start the votes and we can do this every month.
So the first thread will just be nominations. So you pick a person and explain why you think he should be up there.
Please just dont pick friends be honest or this wont work out that great.

I think that this is a brilliant idea, as us mods on this site hardly ever gave rep. This would be a consistent way of adding to peoples' rep and we would get more people that do actually deserve to be Legeds.

Well rep wont go towards every single win.. You know.. If you get rep one time you wont get it again. You can get rep only once. 
So EX: I win I get 5 rep next time if I win I get something else like a Special Tag of some sort.

When the heck did you get legend? Well congrats on it since its our first legend since bloody getting downgraded  .
Anyways i love this idea, ask a mod im sure they can work it out

He asked me about it and I loved the idea,I asked him to write it up and he did.
He got reps from me for 2 notable threads he made,resulting in his becoming a Legend.
Mods can be noted but are not in the running for a win.
I encourage members to point out any Mod they see doing a good job.
