runeword in a JMOD

What would happen if you were to make a Spirit or Phoenix in a JMOD? Would it still retain its increased chance to block? May seem like a dumb question bur I would really hate to **** one up and find out it didn't work.

JMOD is a magical shield. so you would get the attributes of the runes, but no runeword.

Yeah, you can only make runewords in gray items.

LoLz^ I remembered when I started using Runewords i'd try to make RW out of Unquies.
