what is the best MF character?

hey i just started playing again after like a two year break and i was wondering if a lot has changed.
is the sorc still the best character to MF with and if she is what kind of build should i use?

Hdins are now a very good option, altough most people Bot with lite sorcs now.

is it expensive to make a light sorc? cause i'm starting from scratch
