I think that has more to do with viruses...
I just wanted to say that just for an excuse... well it's more prone to get messed up by laugh:

I use linux so I don't have to worry about viruses anyways. But Linux comes with firefox as its default browser and I love it. Although the new internet explorer has all the same features minus the multi-use search bar. I plan on trying swiftfox in the next few days.

Firefox is better. But you still probably want to leave IE installed. You can't download microsoft updates on firefox. And some websites (very few) don't display correctly in firefox and/or let you do downloads. But firefox is definitely better.

There is an add-on for Firefox that I use called IE tab. It allows you to open a tab within Firefox using the IE engine. Can find it on Mozilla's site in their Firefox add-on section.

LOL@right click
I prefer Links2...because CLI browsing is leet
About Firefox, it owns, especially with about:config, and that you can write your own css scripts for it and not have to waste memory using an addon for something a css script can do (like block flash unless you click the object)
and Internet Explorer didn't used to be terrible, until EI7 and they put the "file/Edit/View/" bar under the address bar...than and it wastes all your memory.

Firefox.
Although version 3.0.0 was giving me the shits! I actually resorted to I.E a couple of times. It seems they have fixed the constant crashes with v3.0.1 though

As vista has an independent update tool that doesn't go via internet explorer?

FireFox is probably better but find it has freeze points when it loading the heavy java sites to be honest I use both for different things.. I find IE eaiser for proxy settings.

FF FTW.
Blame Spit. I was an IE hoe until he came along.
Although... I make layouts for a web-based sim and have found that IE is always kinder to my html.

Who Jedi? Joke? Never, thats why he can't stop editing my post as a little running joke has with all staff, and that's why we are in love with him.
Like now FF is "stuttering" as I type and only really use IE since it got tabs.
