I spent a full day downloading mods and not having any work I want to know if it could possibly be because I don't have the LOD expansion and all of them are set to run on LoD expansion? If so, is there somewhere I can download LoD expansion because I don't have the money to buy it or are there drop mods that will work with regular diablo 2?
I actually think I found the problem. it tells me I'm still using version 1.03. Where do I go to get version 1.11? Or is it LoD expansion only?

Ok hun my best suggestion is to PM Skidude or Nubli...these 2 will most likely be able to answer you.....I however have no clue what you are talking about.

Thanks for finding that but you are right. The reason I can't do anything is no LoD. So I guess as soon as I get money I need to go purchase it.

Its only $20, but anyways,Ii doubt anything would of working if you had LOD, but not an updated version. (You had the lowest version, I don' think anything from that era is around anymore)
Installing LOD gets you .7 unless you have a higher version, I don't think it will down grade you.

You probably need to get expansion. It is cheap and gives major bonuses such as runewords and better items. Even if you don't play battle net (Never heard of anyone who didn't) it is still a very good investment. Good Luck and watch out caus if you play battle net with mods your cdkey could get banned.
