Hello.

I and my friend want to play in drop mode, so that I make the server.
I have the drop mode, and I gave him my IP addres. Then he tried to connect but he got a message "Cannot connect to server". Then we tried vice versa but I got the message too. My friend had played with other guy who gave him the IP address, and it worked, but for me the IP server joining has never worked. Can someone help me?

I think you have to create the server or go somewhere where it says "host a game" and it should work that way.

I'm doing it, but when I give my IP address to my friend and he tries to connect to it while I'm in my hosted server, then he can't join, and same works vice versa.

can you be more specific: are you playing at home? are you using a router? are both of you using wired connection? what is your router's host address? do you know how to check your local ip address on the router?
