I'm not angry. I'm positive that you didn't mean to sound offensive, and likely wrote in a hurry.
Next time, maybe, consider the use of another word.

With that said, I have low MF (low for your standards) and yet find a crapload of non-magic items on a daily basis. And I'll surprise you, but I'm not this MF'er geek that many people around here appear to be. I don't even use a bot.

Consider the possibility that you don't know everything about MF (nor do I for that matter), and perhaps there is more going on than we can tell by simply looking at mere numbers and amount of good drops over specified time periods.

The question to answer would be: why MF seem to be effective both at moderate and high levels, but becomes less effective in other cases?
Number of bits at disposal and integers overflow ring me a bell, but I don't think there's the appropriate audience here to delve into such a technical matter.

So I'll just keep my mouth shut.
Ciao ciao : )

What are you talking about?
1) I didn't say that you were bullshit, I said that what you said was bullshit, which is truely was. Reread your own and my post. I'm just sick of having to type the same stuff all over and then people come up with their "Diablo urban legends".
2) Your MF is not low by my standards, to each his own. Hell, it's been more than a year since I last played Diablo.
3) MF is a game a with numbers and luck. High MF% will not mean that you WILL get more / better items, it just means that you have a better CHANCE to get them. Get a clue before you start spreading bullshit.

But don't care what ppl think, cause I know whats true..

And one more last of advice, "I do meph runs"..

LoL, now you wanna know.. lol

It's okay if you don't think I'm telling the truth..

I do about 75-125 runs a day.. I get about 1-3 spiders.. 2-5 shakos.. and maybe 1 hoz.. And few other things.. Facets, rings, etc..

Oh ya yesterday I got a griff.. Which I have not id'ed yet..

You get about 1-3 spiders.. 2-5 shakos.. and maybe 1 hoz a day?

I do the exact same thing botting the whole day +more. Eld, Shenk, and Meph, just subtract the 1-3 spiders 2-5 shakos and maybe 1 hoz, by 3 each.

Props on what Frater said.
Please add to my Reputation if you find my post reasonable, beneficial, or helpful. Thanks. =]

I have been using mm.bot since it came out, and have learned quite alot about mf.

I used to think the more mf the more uniques, but have learned that THIS IS NOT TRUE. I am not sure why it isn't true, but I in fact did some tests.

During these tests I let the bot pick up and sell all items, and checked the logs to see what it sold/found. (I did not include any items that where blue or of lower stsus then blue) The runs where done over a spam of several weeks of 24/7 botting. (I have 7 key sets so I don't get realm down. And no I did not buy em all, I spent several hours using a keygen, and only bought 4 sets) My bot does a repetitive pattern of games killing Eldrich, Shenk, and Pindle.

I did over 5600 runs with a 700 mf hammerdin.

I only found 27 uniques, 17 rares, and 142 set items.

Then I did about 4800 runs with 235 mf. (same character different gear)

I found 51 uniques 12 rares and only 32 set items.

Now you might say, pshh that was just luck. However I don't believe that luck can change in that large a number when doing 4-5k runs.

I have stuck with 230 mf and it seems to have worked best.

I asked many other people about this, and most of them told me to never go above 300 mf if you want to get good uniques, to get over 1k mf if you want to find set items/rares.

Again I am not sure why it works this way, but it seems to be true. If someone would like me to run another test with parameters, I would gladly do it over the course of a few days. (I am not going to do 24/7 botting for a month again, because I couldn't use my comp within that time period)
