My fire sorcs merc is using CoA with Ber, Stone 3300 def, ethereal Tomb Reaver socketed with three Ohms. He's also Holy Freeze merc.

ah how much dmg the 3ohm eth reaver do? very curious and the stone in eth boneweave->sacred? seems like the only way to get 3.3k or so i would think, and yeah dr is pretty essential, a 2xber'd coa is a nice touch, 31 dr max if p... nice touch

It's in superior sacred armor.

The Tomb Reaver is mainly used with my Blizz sorc, since he's for Pindle.
I have another ethereal Tomb Reaver waiting for three 40/15's.

i find that the best place to lvl your newly merc is in the halls behind pindle, halls of pain/dead/ w/e they are called (nm). only if you can kill em quick. do bout 3 runs. your merc should be lvled bout 3-4 lvls each run. get a friend w/ a pally. pally uses holy shield and defiance and do hell cows. cows atk pally but defence too high, cow misses, and you pick em off

good advice, doesn't give much survival towards a lower class lvl merc like 40 from nightmare heh...update that one too ok?

survival of a merc, ok?...hope you have a lot of cash in hand, he's going to die fast in 1-2 hits, so be humble and careful nurish your merc like a baby
