I'd recommend it. I have an Xbox 360 and a Wii and I don't even have the 360 in my room anymore.

Mario got old in 1995... Sony came out and it took a few years but they created IP's that can never be matched by Nintendo. I don't want to play remakes of games, and from what I have seen nearly none of the games take full advantage of both screens. The only games I would really play on DS are the Castlevania games because that is one game that is done great. Every single handheld Castlevania game I have played since the GBA has been great, but now I'm not going to spend a whole bunch of money just to play the 2 or 3 CV titles out on DS.

I would much rather be playing Socom, SWBFRS, MGSO, CV: Dracula X Chronicles (Yes, yes, I know it is a remake), or God of War when it comes out. That is the truth.

I guess if you are STILL into Mario and childishly simplistic gameplay go with the DS, but if you are looking for grown up games for grown ups... Buy a PSP.

that is true. mario died for me back in the 90's when they came out with mario sunshine and slapped a waterpack on his back. that was the worst mario game ive ever played. ill stickl with the regular mario and the 3rd one on nes. I would still rather go playstation and I dont care what peers think of me playing either. Im 19 and still watch Dragon Ball Z and play the games so thats a multi platform game. the only thing nintendo has to its name is MARIO. which sucks now because they have run out of story lines for it so what they make a new sorts game like baseball and put mario in as the pitcher? thats queer. id rather play MLB or something for an actual sports game not a mario sports game and i dont metroid either
