Ok me and a few friends just have one small question what is it called Shafts-top or shaft-stop?

Ok I know what he is asking. He knows what the item is, but he is just asking if the item is supposed to be like a "shaft stop" or a "shafts top."

This one has a clear answer, it is "shaft stop." Here is the definition of a shaft:

a long pole forming the body of various weapons, as lances, halberds, or arrows.

So yeh, the point of the armor is to stop these shafts, hence it being an armor and having damage reduction.

If it was "shafts top," it would have to be a helm. Peace.
