theres a new scam out that I was privy to not long ago. A guy came into my game and asked if I wanted to joined his clan, and get lots of free items and support for doing so...etc.(his account was 'irpro') He then told me to go to a website and download the application form... an .exe file... convincing. Told me it was an .exe because it was all automated and new, so I told him to jog on. Anyway looking at other sites it seems from what people who have downloaded it, that it makes ur 'computer go crazy' and it potentually steals ur account details or somthing, not sure how it works yet...
But clearly its not a rego form...
Anyway thought someone might care

I've seen alot of phishing lately for D2 accounts. Fake battle.net forums and whatnot so keep your eyes open. "Free item giveaways" are not done by stores and are usually the lure.

yea id say it does exactly the same thing.. because the guy was trying to make sure he was standing near to my char... but trying to not make it obvious.. but it was lol. Yea from what iv heard this file makes ur computer just go nuts.. so most likely drops ur items then turns off ur pc or just f*cks it so u cant do anything.
