Greetings everybody.
About the 100life armors, and 24% fhr armors that is 4sockets, Anya have sold some of them so I've bought them, but they are out of sockets some of them, got a 24% fhr armor without sockets, if I use it on the Quest#1 in Act 5, is it possible to get it up to a 4socket, anyone knows?

Uniques, Rares, and Whites...
This is a magic item (blue name) you know anything about it with the Shenk quest? 1/4 there too? :o

I'm pretty sure magic items will yield either 1 or 2 sockets with Larzuk's socketing; I don't really play vanilla D2 as much anymore so I don't know that well.

Ehhhh....
1) Difficulty doesn't matter.
2) Uniques (golden) = 1 socket
3) Rares (yellow) = 1 socket
4) Magical (blue) = 1-2 sockets, it's just chance, nothing you can do about it.
5) White = any random number (limited to item max, of course).
I know that you want the godly 4sox 24%FHR armor, and no, you cannot get it. The only way that a magical armor / shield can get 4 sockets is with the Jeweler's prefix, thus:
-4sox Archon Plate 24%FHR => Jeweler's Archon Plate of Stability
-4sox Monarch 30% increased chance to block, 20% increased blocking speed (cannot remember exact figures) => Jeweler's Monarch of Deflecting, or JMOD.
These are godly blue items and the ONLY way of getting them is having them spawn, so random drop or gambling etc. You cannot make them with any socketing quest or anything.

FraterPerdurabo, thank you for your answer, but I might think that it's a chance of 1-3 since I've got 3 on a blue 98life socketed one. But thanks for the rest information, never thought if gambling them.!

only way to get a 4os armor like yours is to id it from a moster drop im sure
