Possible Noob Question

Uhm. This may be noobish. I want to know the difference between 08 items and the normal items. half the times the items look exactly the same. is there some crazy difference i'm not seeing. i.e. 08 Gaze and 11 Gaze look same but 08 has one less attribute to it.

you just have to know the stats.

all thats different is the stats and the only reason the .08's are still around is because they are better
