Apparently, the Druids aren't too happy with the way World of Warcraft's patch 2.4 will be affecting their Restoration-spec Arena and PvP sets. We're talking specifically about the tweak that had swapped the set's outdoor movement speed buff for a 0.25 second cutdown to the Healing Touch spell's cast time.
As a result, the game's resident druids have recently formed a petition over at the WoW forums to request that Blizzard either restore the set's old stats, or at least replace 0.25 second cutdown with a more substantial buff. The petition seems to have payed off, given that Nethaera dropped by the thread with this bit of good news:
Thanks for the feedback. The Restoration 4-piece Gladiator set bonus has been changed in the next PTR build. It is now the old Stormrage set-bonus, which is -.2 seconds off Regrowth. In addition, the speed bonus to Cheetah will remain on the Feral 4-piece Gladiator set bonus.
Of course, we do remind the readers that even game patch 2.4 has yet to go public. We could be in for a rather long wait. Drop by again in case the devs make any updates regarding this issue.
