World of Warcraft players are having their fair share adjusting to all the new changes they've been seeing in the current PTR. Because of this, some posters on the WoW forums are wondering how long before the new season officially sets in.
By way of explanation, here's what Blizzard Poster Drysc had to say:
Seasons have and will likely continue to match PvE progression. There's always the possibility of starting a new season and not adding new items of course, but as we have Sunwell coming a season 4 and upgraded items to match Sunwell item budgets are an inevitability.
There's no rule that says a season will be a specific length or will include new items.
While Drysc's description was somewhat vague at best, another Blizzard Poster, Kalgan, offered additional insight by saying that Season 3 won't be ending anytime soon. He explained it further by saying: "S3 rewards have quite a bit of life left in them before they start to feel obsoleted by PvE gear".
So players who are still into the swing of things might as well milk the current season for all its worth. Arena players in particular may do well to abuse their current gear before the final changes settle in and the need to look for new PvP gear arises once again.
