We're letting you know about an bit of speculation that's surfaced in light the "death" animation for the World of Warcraft's Sunwell Plateau final boss, Kil'jaeden.
Kil'jaeden, in case your lore's a little rusty, is the de facto leader of the Burning Legion in the absence of their supreme commander, Sargeras. This corrupted Eredar is powerful enough a boss, it seems, that he'll be fighting you as only a half-summoned entity.
Given that we don't want to spoil anything regarding the game plot (because that's half the fun), we'll get right to the speculation: Kil'jaeden's death is odd in the sense that instead of truly dying, he's simply sucked back into the portal from whence he's summoned from. Nobody knows that this truly means, though word on the street is that Blizzard may be saving him for a bigger boss battle in the near future.
What, a tougher cookie than even the Sunwell Plateau? That's certainly one possibility, though we remind the readers that this is all within the realm of rumor, at least until more related info comes in. For the moment, feel free to enjoy the video below.
