As Billee reported over at the World of Warcraft forums, there seems to be a bug that's affecting the shaman class' Bloodlust spell.
Bloodlust, or Heroism if being cast by an Alliance player, grants a 30 percent boost to the melee, ranged, and spell casting speed of all members of the party. The buff is most visible by an overall size increase in whoever is affected.
The particular bug that Billee reports is that players who were standing too close to walls did not receive the spell's buffs. This could be quite problematic for the casting shaman, given that Bloodlust requires 750 mana to cast.
Blizzard blue poster Hortus dropped by the WoW forums to explain that contrary to what some of the players thought, this was not a bug. Instead, the game intentionally prevented the buff from kicking in near walls to ensure that the players wouldn't end up stuck in an existing geometry bug.
That said, a lot of players still weren't too happy with the explanation, given that this game mechanic could quite literally get them killed in a fast-paced PvP bout. Those interested in the rest of the discussion regarding this matter may want to visit the WoW Forums via the source link below.
