Patch 2.4 and Season 4 in the arena are two highly anticipated events right now in World of Warcraft. Some gamers have even become a little edgy while waiting for them. Here are a few more clarifications on both events you may want to know.
Gamer Chubycoconut posted some info on the World of Warcraft forums, stating some unconfirmed details (but very popular hopes) on Patch 2.4 and Season 4. However, Blizzard poster Drysc soon replied, giving some light and clarification on the matter.
One of the more interesting revelations is that Season 4 and Patch 2.4 will not be released simultaneously. Here are Drysc's clarifications, along with Chubycoconut's post (Drysc's replies in bold):
- The next patch is scheduled in April but not an exact date yet.
- We've never announced or mentioned a possible, tentative, or otherwise actual schedule for release of the 2.4 patch.
- Arena Season 4 will be released and Season 2 gear will be purchasable with Honor now.
- This is true, but Season 4 will not begin with the release of patch 2.4. That is guaranteed.
- Season 4 will still have the personal arena rating as Season 3 introduced.
- Season 4 will require ratings, yes.
