Now, in case you're among the gamers who's been hit with these connection woes, Thundgot's passed by the WoW forums with this update:
Cogent has decided not to exchange traffic directly with TeliaSonera u2019s AS 1299 or indirectly with AS 1299 through a third-party provider. As a result, Cogent has partitioned the Internet and disrupted the flow of traffic between Cogent and TeliaSonera customers.
The bad news is that since this is Cogent's decision, it's beyond TeliaSonera's control. That's the latest news we've picked up regarding this ongoing problem. Visit us again in case we receive any new updates, or if Blizzard just might have some way of addressing this problem soon.
