With that in mind, we're letting you know about a handy guide that Teza over at the WorldofRaids site set up. It's a list of the sort of purchases and sells you may want to take advantage of before the patch 2.4 kicks in.
Here's a summary of what you'll want to do:
- Alchemy
- Transmute Arcanite no longer has a cooldown, so you should get rid of your arcanite bars, it's currently selling for 15-25 gold on the auction house but you can expect the prices to be cut in half with the arrival of patch 2.4.
- Enchanting
- You should buy Void Crystals
- 2.4 is introducing a new recipe to shatter a Void Crystal into two Large Prismatic Shards (once every 23 hours).
- You should stack up materials for the most wanted enchants
- Sunwell patch is adding a bunch of new items to the game, therefore Enchanters will be greatly solicited in the first weeks.
- You might as well stock Arcane Tomes and Fel Armaments for shoulder enchants.
- You should buy Void Crystals
- Herbalism
- On European realms (not sure for US realms), you can sell Fel Lotus for 27-35 gold on the auction house, and you should consider selling them now since it will be much easier to get thanks to 2.4 changes (Fel Lotus' price will be affected)
- Jewelcrafting
- Spell haste will get a buff in 2.4, it will reduce the global cooldown on spells, so spell haste will be more important than before.
