open D2Loader Hacks

and download D2Loader_v1.12_(Jun_18_2008).zip

I downloaded D2Loader for v1.12 at that website but when I was scanning my computer with avast and avg they auto deleted it because it said it was a trojan - explain?? -

Jotti scan shows no viruses, nor does a reputable scanner like kaspersky.

I download and AVG 9.0 comes up with this message...

Now, when I scan with Avast it doesn't show up as that but AVG for some reason does...
I'm not sure if it is just because of what type of file it is or what but after I downloaded it I started hearing the type of click the web browser I have makes when I didn't even have my web browser opened and my computer automatically shut down for no reason.. It has done it twice until I got AVG and it deleted the D2Loader.. There was also a couple other files it deleted but I just don't want to take any chances and that's why I'm asking cause I really want to open several D2 clients without swapping users all the time..

It's not a virus, but it is detectable on Battle.net, and it will get you banned. If you want multiple instances, try running a virtual machine, or use SandBoxie

Sadly for something just as innocent as swapping your own gear between chars//accounts, the great utility known as the D2Loader will get you banned. Your AV is simply dectecting the certain file extensions that are common in alot of so called "hacks". It won't open a back door, it won't fry your PC, but if you're willing to risk it..it will get you banned.

Is it for sure that running this now will get you an insta-ban on Bnet?

Or are there people using D2loader fine on bnet and havent been banned?

i think its a insta ban.. i tested it just for the hell of it.. and got owned when they started banning for it
