Sad day for comedy...
#1
In case you haven't heard... George Carlin died last night from heart failure. He brought alot of laughter to the people of this world, and is personally my favorite comedian.

Ironically I heard the news the same way I heard the Dimebag Darrell news. Woke up and was half awake in front of the news and they said it... I immediately jumped up and had to see if it was real, and unfortunately... Well, you know.

George, you will be more than missed. I regret that I never got to see your act in person.
Give us this day our daily bread, your legacy we'll not forget. Lick the wounds and cleanse the land, the modern world rejects your hand... Sinister rouge coming back for more to even the score! --- Bad Religion

I hope if there is an after life they have a special place for men who brought so much joy to people through laughter. Like a 24/7 comedy club with Richard Pryor and Sam Kinison performing every night.

I work at the hospital he died in, St. John's in Santa Monica, and I'm not going to be able to go to work without being bummed for quite some time.

Chin-up, Cowboy. It's not like he knew who you were or anything.

To be blatantly honest, I didn't know who he was until I heard it on the news this morning. Any loss of someone who brings laughter to people is sad, best wishes to all his family.
