I can't get anything to work so far

In short I am trying to get the bot to just gamble for me in the single player game
I don't need it to log in for me, or anything like that.



When I change
Char_Mode = Battle
to
Char_Mode = Single

I get an error msg when I try to open the program and get to where I can launch the bot

I have read the guide, and have tried to put in multiple things, but nothing so far has worked

If I get the lil launch window open then edit the ini before launching the bot.

In game if the game is already going the bot hits escape 3 times then closes the game then does nothing
if the game is not already up, it launches the game then still tries to log into bnet.

I am very new to all this, but for the last few hours been trial and error trying everything I can think of to make this work, but nothing does.

My screen is already set to 16 bit, and over 1024x768 res
I don't know if it matters, but the game does open windowed instead of full screen.
If anyone can help me out here that would be awesome, thanks.

Post your error log file please.

when I change
Char_Mode = Battle
to Char_Mode = Single then save the ini
then click the 5.44 Final icon

I get a little window that opens
Title is Autolt Error

Line 0 (File "C\Program Files\mm.BOT\mmBOT.554.exe

While $LoopExit = 0
While ^ ERROR

Error: Variable used without being declared.


then I hit okay and it goes away

mm.BOT v5.44 isn't the newest version btw. I'd suggest getting the newest version first @ mmbot.net

K downloading .546 and will then change from battle to single in that bots ini and see if I run into any problems

well nevermind the .546 mmbot setup app doesn't work and says to submit

then downloaded it all again and got it to work
It opens the game, goes to single players
the game starts but now I get a little window that pops up and says

mm.bot error
Error while trying to open inventory

reading this bots ini and seeing if there is something special I am suppose to have or do with my inventory

I emptied my inventory then an error saying it needs a TP tome in inventory came up, put the tome back in inventory and got the same inventory error

I don't even want it to worry about inventory and ect, just gamble up rings til the inventory is full would be cool for what I want.

That inventory error is probably the most common error while setting up this bot. I suppose you confused the "Clear messages" hotkey (which is "n" by default) with the "Clear screen" hotkey, which is SPACE by default. Look up your EXACT key settings again and adjust it in your mm.BOT.ini. Then, it should work.

you were right the clear screen thing was off, fixed that.

Now the bot logs in, walks to the gambling npc then I get
title - Emergency stop - First run Error
First run terminated abnormally.
The first run must return succesful status everytime.
If you are learning to use this bot you must read the
BOT manual AND logs\Events_bot.txt. Advice:Make 1 run
manually to load areas in memory cache, then launch bot.

is what it says in log... not sure what it means, but looks like it wasn't going to that npc to gamble




okay I had to set the value for when to start and stop gambling to 0 for it to start working, but now its gambling
and it is auto selling... which I didn't set up. Is there a way to make sure it won't sell unique items?

so far I have kept some uniques i have got thru gambling for rings. I am suprised how long it takes to get any uniques over a LOT of hours of the bot gambling. But it's worth it to test some stuff out.

To stop the bot from reselling the uniques simply open the mm.PKID.ini file and go to the uniques section. There, you'll find

Code:
"Amulet" = "MINLVL:50"

"Ring" = "MINLVL:29"

or something similar. Just edit this to

Quote:"Amulet" = "Stash"

"Ring" = "Stash"

This is also the same for magic/rare amulets and rings.

whats the code for stashing an amulet with +3 to summoning tree for necromancers?
