Its been a few years since ive played diablo/used a hero editor or mods.
Im a wow player so i saw the diablo 3 preveiws and thought id go back to diablo 2 for fun.
Now ive used the editor before but its been a very long time. how do i add downloaded item packs to my hero editor's item list?
I appreciate the help

To use item packs with Hero Editor, open up your character's inventory, right click on an empty space (preferrably towards the top, as imported items start from the top), choose "Import item from file", locate the .d2i file and click OK!
There you go, I wish you pleasant experiences with the character editor ™.

Ok yea. I figured out how to import custom items into the file.
But it keeps saying "Warning:This item does not appear to be a V1.10/1.11 item.
Unless you really know what your doing, DELETE THIS ITEM before you get more errors."
Maybe i downloaded an outdated hero editor?

Use Hero Editor v0.96, I'm pretty sure we have it in the downloads section on this site. It works with pretty much anything from 1.10-1.12.
The items should not be an issue either, just have a look at some of the item packages we have on this site.

yea im using 0.96 and the error came up when i used the BOTH item packs on the editor

Have you updated your game to the latest version? That being 1.12?
