how do i install items?

i downloaded the zip file, and extracted the files from that... but where do i transfer the files so that i can use them in the game?

Item's for single player..right?
Download Hero Editor, you can edit any of the players created with this program and insert the items you like into them.

Any character editor. Just start it up, import an item from what you downloaded, and save.
