so today I boot up War rock a fps game and it didnt load..
it was giving me some shit about Directx not being there

so i try Combat Arms

that didnt work
i re installed both and still failed
then i try War craft3 and that didnt work



no games work for some reason...

i go on directx and download it but still no luck
help?

Im not to sure if this may help but try re-seating your video card, turn your computer off clean out the vid card slot and put the card back in making sure that its all the way in.

If that doesnt work im stumped

Or remove your graphics card from your device manager and when you restart it will force you to reload your graphics drivers and 99% of the time most graphics drivers cd's update your directX for you.

Also might help what DirectX your running now and what the DirectX those games require.

and I think i downloaded a torrent...

I also have it so my comp will standby after 5 mins and it wont
i think some program is running...

I cant even do it manually

well things seem to run kind of fine

but still cannot install directx..
need help?
