I've never worked with vbulletin or any other forums, but I was wondering if there was a way to toggle the language filter on/off for yourself, so that you can see what it is that's censored. I was reading a few older threads where four letter words were censored that didn't seem like they would necessarily be bad and had no way of telling what the word was.

I think when certain words are blocked it's because Spit doesn't want people to see them so the censor it probably mandatory.
Also, why is the word tr!pod is censored.

Well, mayhaps words blocked to prevent advertising could stay blocked, but others could remain? And the filter could be on as a default, the user has to turn it off post-registration? Prolly not possible to do, though, eh?

Edit:
God was censored...
Amazing...
Anyways, yeah, it'd be kinda cool to be able to turn it on and off.

Tr!pod is censored along with a lot of other free web-hosting sites. As people tend to want to spam their crappy free-hosted sites.
