How to dupe

I've heard that it's possible to dupe in D2 LOD @ battle.net.... but how? Any one knows? :confused:

I was playing around with maybe stopping outgoing packets manually, but B.Net seems to DC you very quickly, also you need a decent firewall/router to be able to do it.

For now I'm pretty sure it's impossible.

hey i know how to dupe but it would have to extain like a TON of lag.... ive done this once by accident. I was about to trade my wind force for a grandfather when i changed my mind i didnt bother unclicking the check... so i clicked cancel right when he clicked the check so what happened is he got the windforce and kept the grandfather and i had a windforce and a grandfather... i couldnt really explain it but yeah thats how it was:p

one really, really effective way of duping is as follows. when u get the msg that ur realm will go down for maitenance in 5 min make a game and have a friend follow you in. trade him any crap you want duped and u stay in the game. before the realm goes down, he must exit the game and join a new game. then log off. you stay in the game where u traded him to the realm goes down and you lag out. you will have the items you traded him and he will have the items you traded him. ive done this tons of times for sojs, and now i have abt 5 mules filled their inv and stash w/ sojs.

Ive found another way to dupe on closed b.net ... alls you have to do is complete the installation of a cheaters 3 .. then take out the files of theextra space, then get on closed b.net with cheaters 3, get a friend to give u super good stuff, then try to put something in the extra space, u got an assertion failure, ur friend doesnt, when u get back on d2 , u got the items back that u gave to ur friend, and so does he :eek: rok on , i just found this out to day

whoopsies , i mest that up , ok u make the installion of cheaters 3, u take some of ur items on closed b.net and give it to ur friend, u take a potion or something and stick it in the extra space, assertion failure! your friend still has the items and so do you! DUPED!

I prefer scamming to duping anyways. (I got scammed in the past and got sick of it so I scammed back)

You won't get rolled back for doing it. And I bet you won't have those runes either, if you do, they aren't from the "dupe" you posted.

The realm down method has always worked in the past. It just doesn't happen a lot. And hexpain, I have no idea what your talking about, but I doubt very much if it works, and even if it did, you'd get tagged LOOONG before you duped all those runes.

Damn, I wish tk dupe would still work. You could add Jah and Ith in any armor you wanted, sell it to an npc nonstop, friend would be buy them back and add Ber's in those. Over 100 legit Enigma's less than an hour.

the roll back method does work, however, its just hard to find a time when theyre gonna shut down ur server/realm. if u dont believe me, meet me in a game. ill show u three wyrmhide enigs that are exactly the same.
