wuts str bug??

sometimes when i play D2 i see alot of zonz shoot arrows out w/o a bow... they jus punch out arrows, and some barb is naked but strong as ****..... they said it str bug. dose anyone know how to work it??

For example:
You have a armor, which adds +20 to str, you can't equip it, since you don't have enough str yet (it would need 80 str, and you have 70 str). So, you take item, which adds +10 to str or more, you but it on, and then equip the armor, now you just take the item off. You're still wearing the armor, others just won't see it, since the armor adds the required str itself.

The another way is for example:
You have a armor/etc and it require 200 strength, but you only have 196, you can get some strenght charm that add your strength on or over 200 strength and put them in your inventory and wear the armor. It still work the same as what etanol said. Others won't see your armor, only you could on your screen.

yeah, if you remove the charms it'll still work you mean, although there is a catch to this bug, if blizz patches it anytime in the near future, there will be a lot of botched builds running around lol, and ppl pissed that they have to carry 35 +2str sc's around lmao... just a warning... but i'd say use it while you can... but it's was never a big deal for me to lvl a char, so i wouldn't mind remaking a char if blizz did patch it....
