Best Xbox 360 Game Of 2008:
I have played many games for 360 in 2008 but what was your favorite and why.
Mine Would have had to be Oblivion old school and still good.

Oblivion wasn't released in '08...
For best 360 game I would probably have to say Dead Space.
Normally my answer would be Fallout 3 but I have it on PC and therefor cannot judge the 360 version.

Not exactly. Left 4 Dead is a survival/horror but fits more into the first person shooter category as it's really more suspense than it is horror, though suspense is an element of horror.
Dead Space is done in the third person, with the camera looking over the character's shoulder, and though you are running around shooting monsters this is definately not a shooter game. You have to blow the limbs off of your enemies, and be fairly strategic about it, in order to take them down for good.

Yeah i would have to agree with Fallout, although i did like Fable 2, even though it was short and easy.

I doen't remembe exactly when F.E.A.R. was released but it was definitely one of my favorites. I was a big fan of fallout 2 so fallout 3 was awsome. I also really like Mass Effect.
Live, Learn, then STFU.

Mass Effect was released in 2007 and F.E.A.R. was released in 2005.

Fable 2 is, unfortunately, one of the few 2008 games I have. I also have Battlefield: Bad Company, which is pretty cool. I was a little low on dinero this year, so I wasn't able to get a lot of the games I wanted, like Too Human, Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, etc. I'll get 'em all this year if I can, though.
Anywho, I like Fable 2 a lot. So far I'm about 15 hours into it. I enjoy doing nothing on there. It's fun. I just go from town to town trying to upgrade the economy, buy out food/potion shops, ocassionally do a side quest or go on the main quest. I'm only just after the part where I was supposed to go get Garth, the Hero of Will, but he was captured by Lucien. It'd have to be my favorite single player game, and Battlefield is pretty awesome online. When it's not suffering from typical EA Games server lag.

I thought the loot/weapon system sounded cool. I heard they based it somewhat on Diablo. That's all I know about it though.
