A Few Random Ideas

Alright, as I bounced inbetween fuzzy and clear this morning, surfing Blizzsector, I couldn't help but think of a couple ideas. I wanted to run them by you guys.

1. A Journal section. This could be a simple section, like Small Talk, where each one of us gets to post a personal journal. There could also be a comment's thread in the Journal section, to avoid direct posting in someone's journal.

2. A Roleplaying section, along with an Out of Character section. Remembering earlier that I hoped to liven up the Literature section, the Roleplaying section could allow for the few serious roleplayers to create stories together {Pam, looking at you.}, along with the Out of Character section, a place where we could create ideas for roleplay stories, or talk to other posters in the Roleplay, to bounce ideas and other tidbits.

So far, those were the two major ideas that I had. if I didn't clearify well enough, I can explain more in detail. What do you guys think?

Well as far as role playing Spit has the section set up,it just takes a good idea for a story to really take off.It is all about capturing the enthusiasm of the crowd.Something fun,but not so complex the average member is too intimidated to post.

Journaling I miss.We had it on emulatorworld and I often wrote in it daily or more.My journal was very popular,and you could see how many people visited.Was over in the thousands before ShadowDragon changed formats.

Was funny really...some members RACED to leave comments,and loved how I described my day.I guess it is a form of entertaining writing,seeing what is going on with people.

I only got annoyed at those posting song lyrics as their entry......We would take pride in how many people logged onto the site JUST to read our entry and left a comment SAYING that.

exactly. it would give BZS members a different opportunity to show their lives, as well as their writing styles.

Very true.Some of my more hilarious entries were about my STUPID truck that kept breaking down.I would have dinner cooking and need to shuffle kids to different school events....and the damn truck would go stupid.
More than once I had to drag a battery charger out just to get it going...changed the damn battery ,but some damn thing was draining it from SOMEPLACE......

Not really being a vehicle kind of guy...all this did was piss me off ...I honestly expected it to turn belly up in the driveway...wheels facing up...and watch it convulse in death throws.
Stupid truck...I kicked the tires...I know it wouldn't help start the freaking thing....but I DID feel better afterwards.

Yeah...you can call it that too.The important thing is nobody else being able to make an entry,,,BUT...being able to leave a comment on yours.I think when people start making them and seeing how many views it gets they will be surprised.

Hell I know I was!There were a few people I read everyday! They did not really do instant messengers,but loved I was interested in their lives,and took the time to read and leave comments.

yeah, whenever i did a blog, {once did one on myspace {dont bother looking; i deleted my profile}}, i was honestly suprised at how many hits a day it recieved. my friends, and sometimes even complete strangers would leave comments. rofl

I'd like a blog/journal.
It would definatly be something i'd use alot.
