Should the steam room be public or private?

1000 posts to see the steam room? Are you insane? I hope you understand how hard it is to get 1000 posts these days especially without one of the most popular forums ruled out. 100 posts max. I personally think it should be public. Besides some of the more common members like Skye and Wazzacky wouldn't even meet the requirements lol.

My vote goes to public, on the grounds of free speech. With the exception of the 1337 forums (and the downloads), I don't really like hiding things from members.

Not everyone needs to have their hands held on the Interwebs these days as sparkly rainbows and Cabbage Patch kids rain from the skies. A Flame Wars forum is a natural aspect of (most) forums...sometimes it's the only activity around here, and I don't want to keep new members from being able to voice their opinions there.

If it does end up needing some kind of post requirement, no more than 100.

I hope it wouldn't be 1000. It took forever for me to get to almost 500, rofl. I enjoy being in the Steam Room, its massive amounts of fun.
If there is a requirement, I would either say 15, or 100 max.

But a time requirement. Say 6 hours of activity in forum.
