UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:
ACCES_VIOLATION(c0000005)

Your best bet is a PM to Skidude or Jedimaster...they are both knowledgable about D2 and computers. I however am not...but I did read the post.

Check if it's any of these things: Blizzard Tech Support

You can try running the video test by clicking "Options" on the window that pops up when you put in your CD, and tell it to "Run Video Test" to check if there's a problem there.

You can also try checking here: Open Tech Support

Alternatively, it may either be a problem if you have no sound card, or maybe you are trying to do things too quickly on B.net. Basically, it appears to be a filler error for a bunch of things that really means that Blizzard has no idea what's going on with you.
