What's the best D2 editor for mac?

Since I got my Mac back in June, I've been on the hunt for a good editor, but I can't seem to find one.
I downloaded Hero Editor, and I got the latest version, but it wouldn't work, and I tried, Alkor, but that didn't work either.
I was just curious as to where the hell I can find an editor that is worth my time.
A link to one would be much appreciated.

Try a PM to Skidude or Jedimaster...those 2 are my gurus on this stuff....Lord KNOWS I don't know anything about it.

most if not all d2 related things/programs are .exe and .dll related.
MAC's cannot run .exes/.dlls. (well they can, but you need special programs, and even then they might not always work)
to only way around this is to boot camp the mac and put d2 on the windows partition. thats what i had to do.
yes, you can play d2 on your mac. but thats only b/c blizzard encoded the game to also behave like an app

Yeah, I know that.
It was so confusing, because my friend who has a mac as well told me I'm going to have to download a native installer for it, and I spent an hour trying to find it. When I gave up, I just put the D2 install disk in and it already had it preloaded into it.
Although I love my Mac, it pisses me off.

the native installer that he might have suggested is crossover.
i downloaded the beta version but never bothered making it work. i just boot camped it, or virtualized it.
plus, i dont recommend playing on the mac anyways, it gets WAY to hot
