I just came back to D2:LOD after about a year and half. I used to run a 2x D2 window setup, but now from what I read. D2loader is now detected. So I can't use the same setup this time around.
I've tried using Win7's Virtual PC, but it doesn't support DirectDraw2D or D3D. So it won't even launch Diablo 2.
It also seems the modded D2gfx.dll is also detected too.
Anyone got any suggestions. Or should I just install D2 on another computer. I guess I could just settle for a xfer safe machine, but I rather be able to control both so I could do self-rushes and etc faster .
